We have a small number of real running die-hards who regularly compete in anything from hill climbs, trails, 10km, half-marathon, marathon and ultra-marathon distances.

Running with Mid Argyll Tri & Cycle Club

Further, we have a great relationship with our local group of JogScotland.  Many of us have dual-memberships and we generally don’t particularly clash with each other’s activities, more complement each other.

JogScotland Mid-Argyll meet at 6.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Lochgilphead Swimming Pool and offer groups for various running abilities.  Sessions (approximately 1 hour) include a mixture of street running and sprint exercises, with summertime offering opportunity to mix things up further with light off-road running.
